Today I had another day off work. I'm off now till next Wednesday. I have a court date on the 28th. I got caught for speeding about a year and a half ago and just now I'm going to court. Lets hope I get off.......
Today I went for a 60' ride followed by a 40min run. Even thought it rained a little and the roads were CRAP, I had a good workout. Today at 4pm I will be heading over to the pool for a hard swim. Wednesday are usually hard days. Last week we did 8x175 on 3:00. I was going around 1:50 for all of them. We have also been kicking alot. on Monday we did 15x100 kick on a dec. pace time. We had to try and beat the pace time by 10"

4 on 1:50 30" rest
3 on 1:40 45" rest
2 on 1:30 60" rest
last on all-out. I went 1:18 for my all-out one.
I'm very happy with my swimming in the pool, I just need to get better at open water. I have never swam good in open water. Lets hope this year will be different.
Overall my training has been going great over the passed 2-3 weeks. I'm started to feel good on the bike and run. I'm looking forward to having a fast season and beating a lot of people I have never beat before. My 1st race is coming up in 3 weeks. It's the Waterloo Duathlon. The way I have been feeling as of late, I'm going to be strong going into that race. Early season fitness as I call it.
In other news, I have started playing GTA 4 on my PS3. I just looked and I'm 15% done the game. lol. So this game will take me awhile.
And one last thing. My Carolina Hurricanes WON a big game last night. they scored the game winner with less then one second on the clock. All I can say is "AWESOME"
