Michael Phelps shattering Ian Thorpe’s 200m freestyle record. Phelps is the 1st person to go under 1:44. His time was 1:43.86. And he broke the 200 fly world record. I can't wait to see this guy at the Olympias next year. okay, back to my training!!!
On Monday morning it was raining out and I was still feeling the race in my legs. So I had an easy swim in the morning and by the afternoon it was looking nice out and I thought I would head out on the TT bike. I head out about 45min and look behind me and see lighting and hear thunder. The sky was BLACK. I didn't know what to do besides call my Mom to come get me. She had thought I was in the storm because it was raining like crazy at the house. I had to get her to come pick me up because there was no way I was driving back in that. I only got a little wet because my Mom made it to me before it really started to come down. So I got an hour in. Tuesday night was track night. And they wouldn't let us use the outdoor track. So we were stuck inside on a day that was so nice out. we did 2x(4x400 on 2:30) with 10' easy jog between set. Me and Yorke were flying. we did all of them in 65-66, with Andrew doing his last one in 64. I was a close 65.
My 2 teams I pick have made it to the final 4. Lets hope they both can make it to the finals. And for anyone that is interested, there is an ironman on TV this Saturday at 1:00pm. And also swimming is on 1:00-4:00.
