At the 1st km we were about 3:15 and that was slower then I wanted to be. But there was a strong head wind I went up to the front and tried to push the pace a little. I don't know if I did anything but slow the pack down even more. Once we made a right trun the wind seemed to go away. So I start to make my move. I was still feeling really strong. I went though 3k in 9:50 and I ended up winning in a time of 16:09. I was really happy with the race in the end. After the race I got home I jumped on the bike for 2 hours and did another workout. It's all about the ironman training right now. Just putting in the miles. Yesterday I went to York for a track workout. We did 8x600 on 5:00. I also saw Megan Brown doing a taper workout on the track and she was doing 200's in 28sec. Everyone just stoped and wach her fly by. Today I have a 90min ride inside and a 90min run outside.
