Caledon Kids of Steel

So my weekend started off on Friday afternoon when Karsten and I went down to Caledon to help set up the race course for the Kids of Steel. This is the biggest Kids race in Canada I think? We had over 500 kids racing from 11:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon. So on Friday we through everything onto the big truck so it was ready for the next day. I spent the night at The Yorke's place. They are great hosts. Saturday morning I headed over to the race to start my long day of working and making sure everything was ready for Sunday. Most of the guys went for a 2 hour bike, but I decided I didn't want to and just wanted to stay at the site and set-up. Sunday morning I was up at 5:15 to start setting up the bike and run course with Ward. Once that was done, I could kinda relax and just stand on a corner and let everyone know where to go. Because once the race was over at 4:30 I had clean everything up with the race crew. We didn't get everything done till about 8pm. At which point I was dead:S I was really looking forward to my bed. Now it's back to training again because I'm racing next weekend in Milton. I'm just about to head out for a swim.
