Windsor Triathlon

well, that was unexpected!! The weekend started off with me and Britt getting lost trying to get to James Loaring cottage. There was a whole bunch of road blocks and they got us all turned around. once we got there, it was like we were in Paradise. The Loaring live in the nicest cottage I have ever seen. And it's full of James grandpa's medals that he once when he was young. for those who don't know, he was a Olympic silver medalist in the 400 hurdles. That night we all watched the movie 300 which got Breanne, Britt and Rob thinking they should race a relay and name them self's SPARTAN. And which rob wore a cape and carried a sword. It was so funny. Britt swam, Breanne biked and Rob ran. Breanne biked so fast that Rob didn't even realize that she was back and they lost 2min trying to find him. They would of got 2nd place, but got 3rd. they were about 1:30 back from the 2nd place team. "Good job Rob".
To the main race: the water was so swallow that almost all the elite guys dolphin dived the whole way and got a 45 sec lead over me and kyle. Me and Kyle swam the whole thing because we didn't want to cut are feet up. once out of the water me and kyle hammed the bike to catch all these clowns that never come out of the water ahead of us. We had caught everyone by the turn around except Len who was just up ahead. Once we got off the bikes we were 60" down on Len and I pushed the pace for the first 1k. I started to cramp and kyle went by and got about 20sec on me. With about a mile to go I saw kyle had caught Len and gone by and I thought I really need this money and put my head down and hammered and passed Len to take 2nd place. I won myself $600 which was a nice pay day.
