No more 80 hours weeks for me!!!! That was a long week I had last week. But alot of good things happened. I got a PB in the 5k and I have almost paided back my parents for the money I owe them. It's getting closer to school and everyday I'm getting more and more excited. Yesterday my boss let me get off at 11:00 so I could join my team for a brick workout near Hamilton. our set was 10k hard bike (drafting) and then hard 3k run. so the 1st time around my shoe feel off and I lost the pack right away. so I biked hard till I caught Andrew W. once we hit the run, it was hammer time. I ran the 3k in 9:32. The next time around I made sure I got into the pack of rides. Sean and Tyler broke away right at the end and opened a 5-10" gap. we caught up to Sean quick and then set into a easy tempo pace. Then me and James broke away about 30" later. me and him pushed the pace and went though the 1k in 3:09 and then though 2k in 6:18 at which point James stoped and I was on my own. (I think James is racing this weekend and only wanted to run 2k?) I finished in a time of 9:33 I think? somewhere in that time zone. It was a good workout. It was also my 1st time back on the bike since Nationals. I don't think I have lost anything and I will be ready to go in Windsor.
