Race Course

Today on my lunch brake I went out and drove the 7 mile race course. Everyone kept telling me at work that is was a very hilly course with ONE HUGE hill at 4km. So here is my take on the course. The 1st 3km is flat. Maybe a very little down hill. At 4km there is a hill, but nothing that will slow me down anymore then 5 sec in that km. Once over the hill you have a slight down hill with the turn around at the bottom. Then I do the course backwards. I still think I can run a fast time. My goal time through 10km is 34:00-34:20. If I don't hit that time..... life goes on and I will try again next time. Last night Francis and I went over to the track and did 4x1200m with 3' rest. I was running 3:56 for all of them. It was also the 1st time on the track this year with no wind. I'm just on my way over to the pool for a set of 8x200 dec 1-8. I'm not sure what they are on? I have one more day of work this week and then it's time to get ready for a busy weekend. Annika is getting dedicated on Sunday morning in Guelph. From what Breanne has told me there is going to be 26 people there. And it's Mother's Day.
