Not really my fav. time of year, but very relaxing. It's down time for me. So I'm only doing 2-4 workouts a week. Running 40' at the max and swimming 2000m. My training will begin right after exams. and that will be Dec. 13th. I'm not sure what Barrie will have in store for me, but I'm looking forward to it. I also have to decide what races I want to race next year. Maybe you guys can help me???? should I go longer or shorter stuff like ITU?

You should do all the races I do. That way I can really get my self-esteem up by saying I destroyed a professional triathlete.

You should also come to Florida so we can get dark and fast.

if you are swimming and running fast do ITU....if you're not hitting it then go long. if you can do a 400m long course in the pool around 4:30 then there is a chance but you have to be able to back that up with a fast 1500. if you can run as well then you have a good chance...
i've always thought you would be better at long stuff. your biking gets good when you train for it and you need to be a strong runner not really a fast one.
most important is to define the end goal....without the end goal there is no direction, without direction it's hard to get good at either and you will be sort of good at both.
