Muskoka

This was my 1st weekend off work in 2 months and I wasn't going to waist anytime and have as much fun as I could. On Saturday I went up to my friend Char's Cottage. We spend the whole day out on the water tubing and just having a great time. Now I know this isn't what most people do before a race and I wouldn't recommend anyone do that ether. My arms were really sore in the morning. But once I started swimming I loosened up and felt good. I ended up coming out of the water faster then I thought I would. But I was really tried jumping onto the bike. I rode good, but I didn't like all the hills. it really took it's toll on me druing the bike ride. And once I started the run I didn't have any drive to push myself to run fast. I was on empty. Some parts of the course I could pick it up, but other I felt like walking. But in the end I had a 3min PB so you can never be unhappy with a PB. Then right after the race I went back to a beach in midland and just chilled with Britt, Jenn and Mark. Now it's back to the long hours of work. the fun....... My next race should be Sprint Nationals.

Hey Sharratt!

I'll be racing at the sprint nationals too. I'm flying back to canada on the 27th of june and will be in brampton the night before the race. I take it that you're racing the elite race right? good luck man. I hope we can meet up on the 30th!
